Today is Blogging for Choice Day. Topic: Why are you pro-choice.

I am pro-choice because 20 years ago, I had access to a legal, safe abortion. I am pro-choice because as a woman I want all women to have the same basic fundamental right that I had 20 years ago; to make my own decision about my reproductive destiny. I am pro-choice because “being pro-choice” is not just about abortion, it is about women deciding when and if she is going to have children. I am pro-choice because I believe in birth control. I am pro-choice because I believe comprehensive-sexual education, condoms and emergency contraceptives must be available and easily accessible to everyone.

I am pro-choice because I am pro-women.
