I think the picture says all you need to know about the importance of birth control. Am I right people?

This is the kind of bullshit that puts me over the edge. I am all for striving towards decreasing the number of abortions; but that cannot happen without the availability and accessibility of birth control. Guilt tripping people into not having sex is not going to work.

If the pro-life movement said, “Look, we want to lower the number of abortions, but by doing that we have to find ways of preventing pregnancy in the first place-and this would not be limited to abstinence only education-preventing pregnancy would mean access to birth control, emergency contraceptives, comprehensive sexual education and abstinence education” I would respect their position.

But no- this movement would rather place consequences upon you for having sex outside of marriage-you get to have a “baby.” After you have the “baby” you are free to fuck off, cuz we want no part of you, and that includes your illegitimate bastard of a child.

But all that being said-this pix actually sums up what the pro-life movement is advocating.
